Not many clubs at our level produce matchday programmes, but it's something we offer for our club supporters and visitors. We sent a copy of the programme from our recent home game against Congleton Vale Rovers to Gary Langley, League Development Officer at the North West Counties League, as well as writer, blogger and broadcaster - here's what he had to say about it.
"I was very impressed with the Wythenshawe Town FC programme. What first struck me about it was the decent balance of home content versus information about the away side, the programme flows very nicely.
The stats in there are relevant and interesting and what I particularly liked as well was the information about the tea hut with the prices. I've worked on a number of fan engagement schemes and one of the main issues is clubs not telling fans what is available, and this programme does it perfectly. The manager's column is informative and not candid when talking about games, and that's a good sign of writing.
All in all it looks the part and good value for the fans too, price-wise. If/when the club makes the step up to the NWCL, the club will look part on the programme front. It ties in niecly with the social media that your club puts out as well, so straight away there is a fluidity there that will attract supporters."
Wythenshawe Town FC programmes can be purchased at home games for £2 - our next home game is Saturday 9th December, against Greenalls Padgate St. Oswalds in the Cheshire Premier League - 2pm kick off.
