If this lockdown period has taught us anything, it’s that football without fans, really is a soulless affair. As the continuation of the Premier League has proven that without filtered in atmosphere, a stadium is nothing more than an echo chamber.

During this understandably challenging transition period back to some sort of normality, we at Wythenshawe Town will be adhering to every league and government protocol in order to keep you safe at Ericstan Park, so that you can focus on the action!

This upcoming season more than ever, fans need to look after their pockets given the current climate and at Town, we are priding ourselves on saving you money. And, if you work for the NHS, you are entitled to a season ticket completely free of charge with the compliments from the club for everything you have done for us at these most pressing of times.

Manager James Kinsey is itching to get back to the grind and cannot welcome faces both new and old to Ericstan Park.

“Last season our crowds were up over 60% on the previous season. The interest in the club is growing and it’s important that we continue to increase the numbers that come to support us.

“There’s a real buzz at the ground on match days now and it is creating a great experience. It is something we are passionate about and we hope that we can get the locals through the gate again this season.

“With the coronavirus pandemic, it is more important than ever that as a community we come together. We have all of the necessary precautions in place in line with the government guidelines.

“The NWCFL have advised that the season won’t start until spectators are allowed in to the ground, so we are looking forward to welcoming you back and hopefully, helping us push for success by being our twelfth player”

From all of us to all of you, stay safe and we hope to see you again very soon for another exhilarating season.
