Wythenshawe Town are delighted to announce that Bruno Da Silva is back in Blue and White as he has been appointed as first-team goalkeeper coach.
Da Silva is no stranger to Ericstan Park having made 7 appearances for Town in the early stages of the season but was forced to stop playing after suffering a serious head injury against Avro in the Manchester Premier Cup.
Manager James Kinsey said “We have been looking for a goalkeeper coach for some time now. They aren’t easy to find. I’ve been speaking to Bruno for a few weeks now about getting him on the coaching team because he was a big personality in the changing room before he picked up his injury. Bruno was given the all clear this week by the doctor to take the role which is a significant milestone in his recovery.
He is somebody who has put sessions on for the keepers in preseason and we believe he will be a huge asset for us moving forward.”
