Wythenshawe Town vs West Didsbury and Chorlton

Wythenshawe manager James Kinsey has labelled Matty Bryan as the “best centre-forward in all three counties leagues” ahead of tomorrow night’s match against West Didsbury and Chorlton.

In 3 games so far this season, Bryan has scored 4 goals which included a hat-trick in the last match against St Martins.

That emphatic 8-0 victory continued Town’s perfect win record this season which has been largely helped by Bryan’s superb form.

And with a fixture against West Didsbury and Chorlton tomorrow, Kinsey has been full of praise for his star striker.

“Matty is the best centre-forward in all three counties leagues at the minute in my opinion,” he said. “He has pace, strength, can finish and is good in the air. He’s a really important player for us and hopefully he can stay fit all season.”

But eyes are firmly on tomorrow’s fixture in what is usually a lively encounter between two local rivals.

“Tomorrow will be a tough test and slightly different to one that we have faced yet,” added Kinsey. “They’re a young side and have a good following.

“They’re always quite feisty games when we play them. I’m not sure why, it just seems to develop into a hard battle for both sides.

“We just have to stay focussed on our game and start well. We’ve had a good start, but that’s irrelevant right now.

“You’re as good as your last game, so we will take it one game at a time and see how we end up. It’s important we maintain the high standards that have been set and if we do that, we will be fine.”

West Didsbury and Chorlton have played 2 league games so far which included a win against Stockport Town before a 4-4 draw against Sandbach United.
